Last night we walked downtown and ran into the Irish man from Giant. He was whistling and singing. It was beautiful and sweet.

Today the father/son team who work at ABC Wigs and Beauty supply were really nice to me. They helped me find the right color extensions and were interested in what I was doing with them (cosplay) The son even knew what I was talking about, AND I got the right hair. Huzzah.

my favorite cashier was at Joanns today. She was glad to see me and really nice.

Feb 19

At some point today Cherrel, the woman I bought my tredal sewing machine from stopped by my house and left me a picture she had collaged of a cat on a bed with a huge quilt on it. It's wonderful and she is so incredibly nice. I met her at goodwill and she reminds me that there are still really really good people in the world.

The woman who works at the glasses place here, Kimberly, is fantastic. She helped me find new glasses that would work with the ridiculously lenses required by my horrible vision. She really went above and beyond to make things right.

Feb 11

This morning I was feeling bad, so I woke up and got out of bed fairly early and went downstairs to knit. Normally I'm a very "late to bed, late to rise" type. After a few minuets Darcy woke up and came downstairs to check and see if I was alright. He doesn't get to sleep in often, and it was really sweet. I am marrying one of the best men in the world, with the other really notable one being my daddy.

I'm impressed with the people walking down the road today in the blizzard.
I've been stuck in the house due to snow. All the people on the kintting/crocheting site are amazing.

Today at the wine store an older lady buying a handle of brandy was very nice and friendly. We talked about the snow and the canceling of super bowl parties. She let us go first in line and was very pleasant.
It was nice to see people going out in the bad conditions. It seems like the snow has brought people together- we're all snowed in, so we all have something in common.

Intro

The idea behind this is to write something about today that was good. Something that some other person said, did, or was that made today a little brighter. It wont always be much, and it usually wont be someone that I know, but I think it's important.
